I had to put the sd card into my computer and download the thumbnails from there and then put the sd card back into the innotab after I was finished. If it doesn't work for you, try it this way.

How to add Videos to Innotab 2/2s
Okay, so my daughter received the Vtech Innotab 2s for Christmas and I wanted to add Movies to it. It was quite a process so I thought I would share with you what I had to do to make it happen.
These are the programs your going to have to download (unless you have other programs that will do the same thing) they are FREE! YAY, we all love free.

http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/ (this program will convert your movie to the right format for the innotab (avi format is what's needed).

After downloading and converting the movies to the right format they will be stored on your computer hard drive.
Step 1: Place and SD card in your innotab and turn it on. Select the video icon and wait for it to load. Your SD card is now formatted. Take it back out and insert it back into your computer.
Step 2: Select your movies you want to copy to the SD card, find the LLN Movie folder on your SD card, copy the movies to that folder.
Step 3: After the copying is complete you should be able to put the SD card back into the innotab and select the video tab. Your movies will be there (without thumbnails) that's a whole other post. But it is possible.
